An 8" square

Hi everyone, sorry for the blog break. I have been busy with other projects and feeling a little low, so took some time away from this blog posting.

I was recently told about another charity project: Aids for AIDS orphans.

You knit or crochet 8" squares, leaving 1 metre length of wool when you cast off for sewing up and send the squares to the charity to make blankets.

Cast on 36 stitches, using 4.5mm needles and acrylic double knit wool for this square.

You can also knit hats and clothes for the charity. So I'm spreading the word.

Have you heard of this charity?

No, haven't heard of this one. Our Michael's store accepts squares and every month or so they have a work party to sew them together. Similar idea, I think.
